Where the H have you been?!

Here we are...2011, mid January and I have not posted in months!



So much has been happening it's hard to remember where I left off, so much has changed since I last posted.
My last post was about how change in your life can derail your training plans; and after this past December, I can attest to that.
The end of December and beginning of 2011 has shown to be a roller coaster of events

Before the holidays my mother was hospitalized, had surgery, came home, recuperated and now is going through all kinds of treatments, but is doing well all things considering.

On New Year's eve I got engaged and we are now planning a spring wedding

There will be no CrossFit Sectionals this year! All submissions for competition will be done via video... how disappointing that there will be no event to attend!

Training is going surprisingly well despite all this craziness...I have been concentration on my major weaknesses and doing lots of squats, front squats, back squats and dead lifts... working on pure strength so lots of 3-3-3-3-3 sets.
As slow an steady as it is going , I am starting to see some results.

Nutritionally I still have to get back on track from the holidays. The stress of my mom's illness and my new nutritional plan given to me by William Moylan did definitely make a difference as far as energy levels being on track, but since New Year I've been indulging in far too many sweets and must get back to William's plan.
I'll keep you posted on that one.

Anyway, that's all I got for now... just trying to get back into the swing of things:)
